God’s plan continued to be worked out through Abraham’s descendants, beginning with Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. God guided and protected this family and helped them become a mighty nation, until the time was right for God’s promise to be fulfilled.

2,000 years after God called Abraham to follow Him, the promised savior was born, a part of Abraham’s family tree. Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection changed everything.
