Apple Pie, Neighbors, and Sharing the Story of the Bible

When you understand the story of the Bible, it’s clear that Jesus has given His followers the responsibility to tell others that story. Bible StoryBoards was written to help you understand that story and share it.

The Bible tells Christians to “be prepared at any time to give a quiet and reverent answer to anyone who asks the reason for the hope you have within you.” (I Peter 3:15)

It says people will ask you what makes you so different (in a good way!).

This assumes three things:

  • You are living life with people who are far from God.
  • They see you as a person of hope, peace, love…
  • They know you well enough to feel comfortable asking you questions about your life.

God wants us to be connecting in significant ways with people who do not know Him. In order for that to happen it will take intentional effort on our part. It could begin with something as simple as taking a fresh baked pie to your neighbors; eating in the lunch room at work instead of at your desk; inviting nonchristian friends to a ball game or play instead of your Christian friends.

You Can Share God’s Story

God also tells us to be prepared to share His story. Bible StoryBoards can help you do that. We’ve taken the simple story of God and man and summarized it in 15 StoryBoards. Once you know the storyline, you can easily share it with others by simply flipping through the pictures on your phone as you tell the story in your own words.

Let Bible StoryBoards help you be prepared to share the life-changing story the Bible tells.
