In the beginning God created the heavens and earth. It was the beginning of everything we know and everything we are. That story is told in the first two chapters of Genesis, the book aptly named for its focus on the beginning of the world.
Though our brains can’t understand how it happened, God took a barren planet and turned it into the world that we now know. Continents, oceans, jungles, mountains & valleys, fruit trees, wildflowers… Birds, wolves, elephants, dolphins… and man, beginning with Adam & Eve. He created it all for one purpose – so people could walk with Him, and with each other, in a loving relationship.
