Once again the Children of Israel came to the edge of the homeland God had promised them. And once again God told them to go in and take the land.
Under the faithful leadership of Joshua, this time the Children of Israel got it right. Beginning with the walled city of Jericho, they conquered the giants their parents and grandparents had feared. As they continued to do all God commanded, He was with them every step of the way and gave them success. They took over the land of Canaan and made it their own.
Finally, after 440 years away from the land that God had promised to them, they came home and the descendants of Abraham became a mighty nation of people. True to His Word, God made good on His promises.
