StoryBoard 14 is about the era in history that we are living in today. It began 2,000 years ago. Before Jesus went back to heaven, He told His followers to tell the world what He had done for them – to make more disciples who would make more disciples.
He also explained to them that they would now become a unique community of believers. All those who choose to accept His gift of forgiveness would have the Holy Spirit living inside them, forever. And He would bind them together as His Church.
They were to be the church by:
- Loving each other and the lost world around them
- Praying together
- Eating together
- Serving others together
- Worshiping together
- Studying the Word together
The center of their life was to be their relationships with God, each other, and the lost world around them. Not a religion or a building or an organization… but a community of people living life together.
