The Bible clearly teaches that the most important thing to God is love. He wants us to love Him and to love others. If we are doing those two things, we’ve got everything else covered.
God is concerned about our hearts. Religious rituals or deeds that don’t flow from a heart of love are meaningless to God. But a life of love will be demonstrated day-by-day in our words and actions as we care for others in tangible ways.
We Must Tell His Story
Before Jesus went back to heaven after His resurrection He gave His followers a job to do. They were to tell others the story of what God had done for them through Jesus. That challenge has also been passed through the years to us, His modern day disciples.
