Walking With God is Not For Those Who Want an Easy Safe Life

According to the story of the Bible, following God takes courage. More often than not, it will not be a “safe” path. Bible StoryBoards was written to help you understand the story of God and man that the Bible tells and what it means to walk with God.

Are You Trusting in God Alone?
Are You Trusting in God Alone?

In the Old Testament we see the daring adventure that life became for those who truly followed God and His ways. And in the New Testament, Jesus told those who wanted to follow Him that they needed to count the cost before they made that commitment.

To follow God means…

  • to set aside our will and desires and plans
  • and to live our lives day-by-day letting God’s ways and will direct our path.

When we live that way we will focus on two things.

We will love God.

Our love for Him will be lived out by walking His way instead of our own; no matter where He takes us or what He asks us to do.

We will love others.

Our primary focus in this world will be to show love to others in tangible ways in both words and deeds. We will be the hands and feet and voice and smile of Jesus to all those around us.
