The Bible has a lot to say about Choices, Limits, and Consequences

When we look at the storyline of the Bible, we see a recurring theme of choices, limits, and consequences. In Bible StoryBoards we want to help you understand that storyline so you can learn from those who have come before. Hopefully it will help you avoid a lot of the trouble that people have been getting into since the beginning of time as we know it.

The Choice is Up to You
The Choice is Yours

StoryBoards 1 and 2 explain the first problem that men had with choices. God placed Adam & Eve in a perfect world and gave them the freedom to choose to follow Him or not. He gave them one limit – don’t eat from one particular tree. They chose to disobey that limit and the consequences were devastating.

From that point on throughout biblical history men have struggled with making the right choices. And whenever they have ignored God’s limits and chosen to go their own way, they have suffered the consequences.

Yet throughout biblical history we also see that God has relentlessly pursued a relationship with us, in spite of our sin. When we choose to go our own way and end up in trouble, He is waiting for us to turn back to Him. And He offers love and grace and forgiveness.

God asks us to choose to follow Him. So what does that look like? He wants us to love Him and to love others. And He wants us to choose to do that every day.

The choice is yours.
